Mae Sa’ Elephant Camp and ‘Ban Tong Luang’ The Hill Tribe’s Village

1. 8:30 a.m. Departure from 137 Pillars House.

2. 9:40a.m. Mae Sa Elephant Camp is located about 45-minute drive from the hotel. Watch the elephants take their daily bath in a nearby river before the 45-minute show begins. Watch demonstrations of how Thailand’s hardest working creatures were used for logging in the jungle, as well as elephants playing soccer, painting and playing musical instruments. Then ride in a “Howdah” elephant chair that seats two persons through the jungle to a nearby hill tribe village.

3. 11:30a.m. Stop at Baan Tong Luang village, a new settlement comprising of four different tribes including Karen, Lahu(big ear), Palong and Padaung.

4. 01:30p.m. Return to 137 Pillars House.
